It's about creating a space that reflects your personality and makes you and your family feel at peace. Your home decor should make a statement and reflect who you are. When your home is designed the way you want, it can bring a sense of calm and comfort to your life. Every day I walk into my home after work, I feel relaxed as I look around. The space does it for me with the natural lighting, the clean lines, and the neutral decor. I love it.

We had our home built last year, and we had the pleasure of working with Julie Goss from Ethan Allen to design our main living space and bedroom. I had a vision of neutral tones with a pop of color inspired by the model home, and Julie took that idea and created a 3D rendering with pieces from Ethan Allen that brought the vision to life. From there, we were able to customize the details. We picked the hardware and fabric for every element, the sofa, the dining chairs, the bar stools, the bed frame and headboard, the storage ottoman, the pillows, and even the cushion thickness for the couch. Everything was custom, and the artwork tied it all together.

The design process with Julie was seamless. She listened to our ideas and brought them to life. She was patient and understanding and never pushed us to buy anything we didn't want. She took the time to understand our style, preferences, and overall desired look and ensured that every piece we chose fit into the overall vision. She created a cohesive design that was both beautiful and functional. The craftsmanship of the furniture from Ethan Allen is of top-notch quality. The couch, dining table chairs, and bar stools are comfortable but chic and perfect for sitting and entertaining.

One of the things that I appreciated about working with Julie was that all of her recommendations were within budget, which my husband was super happy about UNTIL, my taste started getting really expensive 🤣. We did go over budget a bit, but that was solely by our choice.

Overall, the experience of designing our home with Julie was great. The process was exciting and easy, and the results were better than I imagined. We have a space that is not only beautiful but also functional, comfortable and that reflects our style and feels peaceful.
