THE IDEA
Starting is the hardest part.
Like Nike, the slogan says, "just do it." You will never know what could have been if you don't try. I always say that, so I'm taking the leap and starting here. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I know that I'm excited to explore something that I feel passionate about, the fashion that is 🤣. I'm not passionate about writing, but I'll get it done if it's part of the fulfillment. I'm diving outside my expertise, putting my thoughts out there, and sharing what I think is cute on me and others, so here we go.
Why this? Why now?
The crazy thing is I have wanted to write a blog for at least eight years or so now. I look back at my journals, and I have been talking about this for so long that I have to kick myself in the butt (laughing out loud). If it were possible, I would do it for real 😂. But I have had several ideas over the years centered around talking/writing about my love for love and fashion. I had the idea during COVID to create a podcast, Living in Love 247, because I am a love bug passionate about loving better in relationships with yourself and others...that's the Libra in me. During this past holiday weekend, while celebrating with friends, I had a conversation with a good friend that pushed me to face the reality of what I was already doing. What my social media presence already looked like to some others. It showed me the passion I hadn't realized or wasn't being honest about, and the fact is: I LOVE FASHION; I LOVE GETTING DRESSED; I LOVE TAKING PICTURES; I LOVE GETTING CUTE! So here I am, starting my blogging journey, and I hope you enjoy my take on things. But if you don't, that's okay as well, just let me know in the comments, and we will talk about it👌.
What I want to build and what you can expect.
In this space, I want to build community. In this space, I want to share my thought with you in hopes that we build relationships around our love for fashion and fun and funky ideas and opinions. You can expect a new blog post weekly with pictures and sometimes videos of outfits that I thought were cute, unboxing of new finds, fashion reviews of new and old ☺️, as well as community conversations that showcase fashion diversity. I can't wait to hear your thoughts!
