The Lakers vs. the Warriors - Solo trip
Flying into Los Angeles for a weekend getaway is always a great idea, especially when it involves catching a Lakers game. I recently had the pleasure of doing just that. From the chic accommodations at the Hilton Conrad to the VIP section at the game, it was a weekend full of fun and relaxation.
Upon arriving at the Hilton Conrad, I was immediately impressed with my room and the stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, located in the heart of Beverly Hills. My room was spacious, chic, and modern, with views overlooking the city skyline. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was sleek and clean, and an expensive mini bar was stocked with snacks and drinks.
Thursday night was the main event; I had tickets to see the Lakers take on the Warriors at the Crytpo Arena. The VIP section at this particular arena was an experience. The view of the court was amazing; I was in the 100 section and was super excited to have gotten those seats at such last minute. They were a pretty penny though š. I'm a fan of Labron and Steph Curry and wanted to see them play. Steph set out that game because he was hurt, and the Lakers ended up winning the game. It was a good time!
Unfortunately, it stormed all day Friday, but I was not mad. I spent the day relaxing in my room. I felt under the weather since it was much colder than I expected for LA, and after being out in the weather the night before, I needed the rest. I ordered room service and lounged around ALL DAY. It was great!
I checked out seamlessly on Saturday morning and hopped in a Lyft headed to the airport. My flight was on time, and I made it home safely. Mission accomplished!
